STONEBRIDGE AT POTOMAC TOWN CENTER
Potomac, Maryland

A different type of retail center

Breaking away from the traditional retail model, Bob’s design for Potomac Town Center creates an exclusive shopping experience within a park setting that supports community events, concerts and outdoor leisure activities.

The project incorporates a number of plaza-like spaces, creating an identifiable and diverse public amenity that ultimately strengthens the center’s leasing strategy. The overall plan extends the urban streetscape to include the side and back of the retail buildings, increasing the number of shops that can be located around the perimeter of the center. The design also positions storefronts around the back of selected buildings in order to create a less inwardly focused project and to maximize the visual corridors created by intersecting streets.
